Modules

Sales Management A customer's order can directly be booked into the system as a Sales Order. Goods can be reserved directly during entry of sales order. RedSquirrel provides facilities to give cash discount and special discounts on order level and item discount on each product in the order. Posting a sales order releases it for production and subsequent despatch. Changes in the posted sales order can be made through sales order amendment process. RedSquirrel maintains a history of sales order amendments

Production Planning and Production
Production Planning module aides in the creation of Bill of Materials based on which Material Requirement Planning and Production / Work Orders are generated by system. The salient features of the module are:

Finished Goods Management
This module records data about finished goods. It handles incoming stocks at all locations of company including C & F agents. It is integrated with the invoice-raising module to reduce or increase the inventory accordingly.

Stores & Inventory
RedSquirrel incorporates a comprehensive stock control and inventory management system for handling all the processes related to engineering stores and raw material. This module covers stock control from the inward receipt through issue to production. It is integrated with the Purchasing System and Accounts Payables.

Accounts Receivable This module handles all transactions related to debtors. Accounts Payable The module handles all transactions related to Creditors. General Ledger Accounting transaction data from AR & AP finally comes to General Ledger. This module allows to do inter account Journal vouchers entry. It provides all standard Accounting reports such as Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc Budgeting Budgets can be created for Accounts, Group of accounts and Cost/Profit Centers. System Specifications

RedSquirrel requires MS SQL Server OR Oracle RDBMS. RedSquirrel runs on Windows 2000 Server. For Workflow management, RedSquirrel requires Savvion® Business Manager Client machines require a Pentium PC with a minimum of 32 MB RAM, Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT and 4 GB HDD. Server requires P4 Processor, 512 MB RAM and Minimum of 20 GB HDD.
